“Gilda” is a dark night story of a woman who only has one day to save her life. The location of the film is mainly taking place in a restaurant and narrated by a woman named Gilda.
Omid Bonakdar, who is also one of the main authors of the screenplay, had previously co-authored powerful works such as “Purple” on the Fajr festival in collaboration with Keyvan Alimohammadi. Bonakdar and Alimohammadi have came up with Gilda to prove that in Iranian cinema, where the presence of two directors which is an unusual and rare thing in filmmaking, the two have once again worked together to produce a powerful and influential work to cinema and cinema fans.

Mahnaz Afshar is a popular Iranian actress, born in June1977, in a religious family in Tehran. After finishing high school, she studied editing at a nonprofit school for four years.
Afshar after passing few acting classe began her acting career in a television series names “lost” in 1998. For her, playing in that series was strong start and attracted many directors and film makers attention.
It was not long before Afshar starredin Ali Shah Hatami’s movie called “friends”, and two years later in the film “passion of Love” she was at the beginning of the road of fame.

Hamed Komeili
Hamed Komeili is another key member of the “Gilda”‘s cast. He was born in 1982 in Tehran. He began his artistic career with theater and music and then he began appearing in television with the series “Flying in Bubble”.
He began his first cinematic experience in 2008 by starring in the film “Two Sisters” and his brilliance in the film made him progress more rapidly. Komeili was nominated for the best supporting actor for “Doubt” movie.
